SCHENGEN VISA APPLICATION PROCESS
COMMON INFORMATION SHEET FOR SCHENGEN VISA APPLICANTS IN INDIA.
Visa applications from Indian nationals residing in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Jharkhand, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Orissa, Sikkim, Tripura, West Bengal, the Andaman and Nicobar Islands can be submitted to the Consulate General of Italy in Kolkata or to the outsourcing visa agency VFS.
Applications to VFS Global Services agency can be submitted from Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 16:00. Call center: 022 67866004.

Direct applications to the Consulate General can be submitted through our online booking system.
Applicants for adoption visa are advised to note that starting from 1st February 2014, both the adoptive parents must be present while submitting the applications at this Consulate General. In case any one of them is absent, a special power of attorney must be obtained in this regard.
Nepalese applicants residing in Nepal can submit their visa applications to the visa agency VFS in Kathmandu at the following address:
