Embassies and Consulates also provide services for foreign citizens. These include the issuance of visas for entry into Italy and the Schengen Area, the issuance of administrative documents such as the legalization of documents and certification of proof of life and conformity of translations. Moreover, in the cases provided for by current regulations, Embassies and Consulates shall ensure the transmission of documents to Italian authorities.<\/p>\n

If you are in India and wish to travel to Italy, you may require a visa, issued by the Embassy of Italy in India in New Delhi, or one of the Italian Consulates in Kolkata, Mumbai or Bangalore.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

The Consulate General of Italy in Kolkata covers the Indian states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Orissa, Sikkim and Tripura, the Territory of the Union of Andaman and Nicobar islands, as well as the country of Nepal.<\/strong><\/p>\n

NOTE: It is not mandatory for applicants to opt for services of our outsourcing partner for Visa applications. Spouses and relatives of Italian\/EU citizens may request to submit their visa applications directly at our office.<\/p>\n
