{"id":1881,"date":"2013-11-21T09:19:46","date_gmt":"2013-11-21T08:19:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/conscalcutta.esteri.it\/news\/dal_consolato\/2013\/11\/concerto-di-gala-verdi-2\/"},"modified":"2013-11-21T09:19:46","modified_gmt":"2013-11-21T08:19:46","slug":"concerto-di-gala-verdi-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/conscalcutta.esteri.it\/en\/news\/dal_consolato\/2013\/11\/concerto-di-gala-verdi-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Bicentenary of Giuseppe Verdi: Gala Concert at St. Paul&#8217;s Cathedral in Kolkata"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><P>On the occasion of the Bicentenary birthday celebrations of Giuseppe Verdi, the Consulate General of Italy, the Italian Cultural Institute and the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) had organized a Gala Concert at St Paul\u2019s Cathedral in Kolkata on Saturday, 16th November.<\/P><P>The orchestra of Italian and Indian musicians, conducted by Maestro Marco Balderi, presented some of the most beautiful arias of the composer from Parma from <EM>Nabucco<\/EM>, <EM>Il Trovatore<\/EM>, <EM>Rigoletto<\/EM>, <EM>Aida<\/EM> and <EM>La Traviata<\/EM>.
