The Consulate General of Italy in Kolkata in collaboration with Upal Sengupta is proud to present Puchki in Italy – a one of a kind comic strip launched to celebrate the Week of Italian Language in the World. In this series of illustrations, we introduce you to Puchki, a small Indian girl who travels to Italy with her inseparable four-legged companion, Cookie and while waiting at the airport, dreams of meeting famous historical Italian characters. The story has a mix of both English and Italian dialogues, and attempts to engage the readers with its wordplay. We hope the readers enjoy embarking on this journey with Puchki as much as we enjoyed crafting it. And rest assured, this is only the beginning!
