The Consulate General of Italy in Kolkata announces a call for sponsorships for the year 2024:
“An Italian Grand Evening in Memory of Angelo Firpo”
The Consulate General of Italy in Kolkata will celebrate, with a gala event in a prestigious Hotel in Kolkata, the memory of the Italian citizen Angelo Firpo, renowned entrepreneur who founded and managed the worldwide celebrated restaurant “Firpo’s”, considered until the 1960s the most famous of the city. A place that has shaped the social life of Calcutta for decades and which is still remembered as an exceptional example of hospitality and gastronomy.
The evening, aiming at celebrating the memory of an Italian excellence in the city, will see the participation of authorities, numerous representatives of the Indo-Italian business community, media, artists as well as representatives of the resident Italian community.
The Consulate General of Italy in Kolkata grants the possibility to participate as:
- “Silver Sponsor”, through a financial contribution of 50,000 Indian Rupees
- “Gold Sponsor”, through a financial contribution of 100,000 Indian Rupees
- “Platinum Sponsor”, through a financial contribution starting from 200,000 Indian Rupees
